Announcement of Endeavour programme 2007 Australian Education International (AEI) is an Australian Government Representation, which works with Australian education and training providers and various host governments and organisations to promote Australianeducation, science and training internationally. AEI Vietnam is pleased to announce the prestigious Endeavour programme 2007, which is funded by the Australian Government.
The Endeavour programme is an Australian government initiative, bringing together under the one umbrella all the Department of Education, Science and Training’s (DEST’s) international scholarships, so that high achieving students and scholars from around the world can undertake study or research in Australia. The Endeavour programme 2007 for Vietnamese citizens includes:
1. The Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Awards are for Asian postgraduate students or postdoctoral fellows wanting to undertake short-term (four to six months) research at an Australian higher education institution. Each award is valued at up to a A$ 25,000.00. Closing date for applications is 31 July 2006.
2. The Endeavour Asia Awards are for postgraduate students to undertake a higher degree programme (Masters or PhD) in Australia or to carry out research in Australia towards a higher degree in their home country. Each award is valued at up to a A$50,000.00. Closing date for applications is 25 August 2006.
3. The Endeavour Executive Awards are for undergraduate professionals in business, industry, education or government wishing to undertake up to four month research at an Australian higher education institution. Each award is valued up to A$25,000.00. Closing date for application is 18 August 2006.
4. The Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships are for top quality postgraduate students to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia and gaining experience with leading Australian researchers. The scholarships are available for a period of two years for a Master by research degree or three years for a Doctorate by research degree. Each award covers tuition fees and health cover costs for scholarship holders, and health cover costs for their dependants.
5. The Endeavour Postgraduate Awards provide full financial support for international students for up to 3.5 years to undertake a postgraduate qualification either by coursework or research in any field of study in Australia, which includes a semester of English language training (if required). Each award is valued up to A$195,000.00. Closing date for application is 25 August 2006.
6. The Endeavour Research Fellowships are for postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows to undertake short – term research from four or six months in any field of study in Australia. Each fellowship is valued up to A$25,000.00. Closing date for application is 31 July 2006.
7. The Endeavour Vocational and Technical Education Awards are for Asian-Pacific undergraduate students to undertake up-to-2.5-year vocational and technical education at a Diploma or Advanced Diploma level at an Australian institution including private or public providers. Each award is valued A$95,000.00 including one semester of English training. Closing date for application is 31 July 2006.
